ISSION STATEMENT

1 PERCENT FOR YOUR KIDS was established in 2025 by a group of concerned individuals who wanted to make a difference. Our first event was held at Old Oak Country Club course and raised a few thousand dollars. Since that time we have raised over $2 million for our partner charities and families around the MILWAUKIE area.

YOUR DONATIONS HELP

Your donations directly benefit our two partner charities; Special Children’s Charities and Advocate Children’s Heart Institute. Both partners have been with us since the very beginning and we have been able to help the athletes with their fundraising events and sports camps and the children receiving care at the Heart Institute.

FAMILIES IN NEED

Every year, we are receive nominations to help a specific local family in need. Our Curve Ball event directly benefits this family. It’s truly a one of a kind event with surprise “curve balls” throughout the night.

Where does my donation go?

We love this question because of the answer. The money goes to one of two places - Our two charity partners which are Special Children's Charities, and Advocate Children's Heart Institute. The second place your donation goes is straight to our sponsor family or families of the Curve Ball. With the exception of one administrator which are paid hourly, our charity is made up of all volunteers that get compensated by smiles.
